Three steps and you are teaching

Turn on your lessons
In “My lessons”, open “Configure my lessons”: your prices per duration, your time zone and your hours.

Receive requests
Students choose a date, length and time from your free slots. You accept or decline.

Teach in the room
At the time, you both join from Classicspark. Afterwards, your student rates you and the lesson counts towards your level.

You only pay for the room you use
Never a percentage of your lesson. Accepting a lesson reserves its room hours; afterwards what was used is deducted and the rest goes back to your balance.

Does Classicspark keep part of what I charge?
No. The student pays you directly, in whatever way you agree. Classicspark does not charge for the lesson or hold your money.
How is the room paid for?
You only pay for the room hours you use, never a percentage of your lesson: the time each person was connected is deducted, and whatever was reserved but not used goes back to your balance. You get 1 h of free room time to start.
Can I teach the lesson another way?
Yes. When you accept a request you can arrange it outside Classicspark. It stays on record, but it has no room, is not rated and does not count towards your level.
What do I need for the room?
A camera, a microphone and an up-to-date browser, on a computer or phone. If you use headphones, tick “I’m using headphones” and the room sends your sound in stereo and at higher quality.
Who can teach?
Any musician or ensemble with a Classicspark profile. You turn on your lessons, set your prices and hours, and start at the Prelude level.
Can lessons be recorded?
The Classicspark room does not record, so we keep no one’s image or voice. If you want to record a lesson, ask your student for permission first (and their parent or guardian if they are a minor) and use your own device’s recorder: the Snipping Tool on Windows, or OBS Studio, free on Windows and Mac. Whoever records is responsible for that recording.
