For music teachers

Teach music where students are already looking for you

Classicspark is the classical music network. Your teacher profile shows up where students search, requests arrive with a date and time, and you teach in a room designed for instruments. You keep your whole fee.

  • Room free during the launch
  • 0% commission on your lessons

Why here

Everything around the lesson, not just the video call

You can get a video call for free in many places. The hard part is being found, organising lessons and making the instrument sound right.

Students find you

You appear in “Find teachers”, “Near me” and search with your level badge, which also shows on your public profile. From your profile, students ask for a lesson with “Request a lesson”.

Your schedule, in each student’s time zone

You set your prices per duration and your weekly hours. Students only see your free slots, in their own time zone.

You keep 100%

Classicspark takes no percentage of your lesson. The student pays you directly, however you agree.

A room that sounds like music

No noise filter and no automatic volume control, on for everyone from day one. With headphones, in stereo and at higher quality.

Reminders and a conversation

You and your student get a reminder 24 h and 1 h before each lesson, and every lesson has its own conversation to prepare it.

Ratings that mean something

Your students rate you after each lesson in the room. Lessons arranged outside are not rated, so your average reflects what happens here.

Teacher levels

Four levels you earn by teaching

You start at Prelude when you turn on your lessons. You move up with lessons given in the room, to different students and with good ratings, and each level gives you more visibility.

  1. TeacherPrelude level

    • Badge on your profile and cards
    • 3 free room hours when billing starts
  2. TeacherSonata level

At least 5 lessons in the Classicspark room, with 3 different students and an average rating of 4.0 or more.

    • Ahead of Prelude in teacher searches

Comparison

Classicspark compared with what you already use

Zoom, Meet or Teams bring you no students. Preply or italki do, but they keep part of every lesson. Here students find you and the fee is yours.

For a simple one-to-one call, Meet and Teams work well. The difference is everything around the lesson: being found, the schedule, the sound and keeping your whole fee.

How to start

Three steps and you are teaching

  1. 1

    Turn on your lessons

In “My lessons”, open “Configure my lessons”: your prices per duration, your time zone and your hours.

  2. 2

    Receive requests

Students choose a date, length and time from your free slots. You accept or decline.

  3. 3

    Teach in the room

At the time, you both join from Classicspark. Afterwards, your student rates you and the lesson counts towards your level.

Frequently asked questions

Does Classicspark keep part of what I charge?

No. The student pays you directly, in whatever way you agree. Classicspark does not charge for the lesson or hold your money.

What will I pay after the launch?

Only the room, for the hours you use, never a percentage of your lesson. The price will be published before billing starts, and you will get 3 free hours to begin.

Can I teach the lesson another way?

Yes. When you accept a request you can arrange it outside Classicspark. It stays on record, but it has no room, is not rated and does not count towards your level.

What do I need for the room?

A camera, a microphone and an up-to-date browser, on a computer or phone. If you use headphones, tick “I’m using headphones” and the room sends your sound in stereo and at higher quality.

Who can teach?

Any musician or ensemble with a Classicspark profile. You turn on your lessons, set your prices and hours, and start at the Prelude level.

Your next lesson can start here

Turn on your lessons in a few minutes. The room is free during the launch.
